Alex Cooper is a drummer who has played with a number of bands, including Katrina & The Waves, Gigymen, and Lee Cave-Berry. He is known for his energetic and powerful drumming style, and has been praised by critics and fans alike.

Cooper was born in Cambridge, England in 1956. He began playing drums at a young age, and quickly developed a passion for music. He attended Cambridge University, where he met fellow musician Kimberley Rew. The two formed the band The Waves, which later evolved into Katrina & The Waves.

Katrina & The Waves achieved international success in the early 1980s, with their hit single "Walking On Sunshine." The song won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1997, and helped to launch the band's career. Cooper remained with the band until their breakup in 1999.

Since then, Cooper has continued to play drums with a number of different bands. He is also a solo artist, and has released several albums under his own name. He is a highly respected drummer, and his playing has been featured on numerous television shows and films.
