James Rodger "Diamond" Williams is an American musician and songwriter, best known as being the drummer for funk/soul ensemble Ohio Players from 1974 to 1980. Jazz-trained and ambidextrous, Williams was voted the seventy-second-greatest drummer in history by a Rolling Stone readers' poll.
