Harold Beane was an American funk guitarist who played a significant role in the band Funkadelic for 15 years.

Beane joined Funkadelic, a pioneering funk rock band led by George Clinton, and became a core member. While Funkadelic was his most notable band, Beane also collaborated with other Stax musicians, including songwriter David Porter. He lent his guitar talents to recordings by legendary artists like Isaac Hayes ("Walk On By"), Little Richard, Otis Redding, Al Green, and more [George Clinton Parliament Funkadelic website].
